2016 seems to have started off great for DJ SLY the "UNSTOPPABLE" who has earned the accolade "TURNUP KING" from his recently released Mixtape dubbed "Turnup Riddim Mix" which has made waves and ended up getting him nomination in this year's Ghana DJ Awards on a 3 unremitting years from 2014. The mixtape was made from his TURNUP RIDDIM, which featured a lot of big names like the BHIM Nation boss StoneBwoy, David Oscar, Mulla, Gal Afi, Pidza, Owurah, Tenkorang, Phrame just to mention a few. As if the Ghana DJ Awards 2016 nomination wasn't enough DJ SLY have been signed by the weekly entertainment tv program WatsUp TV as their DJ officially and he graduated from Accra Polytechnic the country's premier polytechnic with a HND in Marketing Certificate just to add up to the "goodies" 2016 has to offer him. Currently the"Underrated" DJ works with Plot7 a plush Lounge and Bar located in Osu.In the previous Ghana DJ Award schemes from 2014 DJ SLY has had nominations in the category Best Campus DJ of The year and 2015 he was in the Best Campus DJ and Best Mixtape DJ with his mixtape (Around The World Mixtape)
DJ SLY seems to have his passion at heart so he tends to turn every stone that comes with the profession so his has released a couple of singles with QWESI and Black Prophet title is "Tonight" and "Till Day Break"(TDB) on which he featured Tenkorang
