EDITORIAL: IF GEMINI IS REALLY DOPE, WHY DIDN’T SARKODIE PUT HIM ON THE SONG OR GIVE HIM A CAMEO?

Multiple award winner Sarkodie today released what will probably be his rap song dedicated to his fans before commencing work on his upcoming “Mary” album.

In the track titled “Revenge of The Spartans”, The BET Award winner admitted to the fact that the artiste Gemini is indeed a dope rapper as he has always known since his early days of rap. What baffles me as a writer and blogger is that, If you know of a rapper of that caliber, why not put him on the song you praise him on or at least show him to your fans in your video so as to give him the said significance He (Gemini) has been working hard on.

Some readers may think I am hating on the success of Sarkodie, but that is certainly not the idea. I will be stating my reasons as to why I make such claims.

Before this year began, Gemini, who a lot of Ghanaians claim to be the dopest rapper in Ghana tweeted his new year’s resolutions; him setting out to conquer the African continent and show the world the dopeness he has to offer in music. Is Sarkodie trying to get his name on the “those who helped Gemini Blow” list?

A source disclosed to GhanaNewsReport.com that, some people whom he gave the opportunity to listen to the song days before its release suggested He (Sarkodie) should put Gemini on the song so as to really prove that Gemini was really dope as acclaimed in the song. Others also asked that Gemini should at least if not have been featured on the song, appeared in the video at the point at which his name was mentioned to create the necessary and deserved attention. My question is,was Sarkodie scared Gemini would have “murdered” him as He has claimed the rapper was REALLY dope even as far back as their early days in rap?
